| When connected to a control circuit the fluid sensor pulses 2-3 times per minute - this reduces power consumption and minimises the risk of false triggers caused by bilge water slopping. Either type of sensor can be used with C-BE10 and C-BE20 and are fully waterproofed. The C-BE05 & C-BE06 incorporate sensor and pump control unit. | |||||

C-BE51 OPTICAL SENSOR . If at the moment of a pulse the eye is immersed in fluid, the detector circuitry, by the use of light refraction, acknowledges the presence of liquid and triggers the pump control timer circuit (in the case of connection to C-BE10) or sounds the alarm (in the case of connection to C-BE15 or C-BE20). | C-BE55 RESISTIVE SENSOR. Fitted with two probes to allow a small voltage (5Vdc) with an extremely low amperage to pass between them. When the probes are immersed in water the detector circuitry is activated and will trigger the pump control timer circuit (in the case of connection to C-BE20) or sounds the alarm (in the case of connection to C-BE15 or C-BE20). AUTOMATIC BILGE PUMP SWITCHES |

| Both models comprise a fluid sensor interfaced to a logic control circuit, fully waterproofed, utilising protected power MOSFET switching technology. When the sensor triggers the control circuit, the pump will switch on and will operate for approx. 50secs to 1min. After this cycle the pump will switch off. If, on the next pulse, liquid is still present, the cycle is repeated. By using solid state technology, power consumption and heat generation are reduced to an absolute minimum. | Polarity, over temperature, over current protected. Supply voltage: 9-28Vdc. FOUR STATION BILGE ALARM SYSTEM
|

| A system primarily aimed at commercial and work boats, monitors fluid levels in up to four areas simultaneously. When fluid is detected, an alarm mounted on the front panel will sound, and a visual warning lamp will illuminate to indicate the area flooded. The light and alarm will remain on until the fluid has been pumped away. If desired, the alarm can be silenced, but the flood area light will remain on. Should another area become flooded, the alarm will reactivate automatically.
The unit is fitted with a sensor entry gland for up to four C-BE51 sensors and a remote output for alarm or beacon. Area names such as: "Forward Bilge", "Engine Room" etc. can be engraved on the panel to order. |

These flood detection units have been made to meet specific customer requirements. The sensors have been tested to 40g shock load and the control boxes to 15g. Working on a variety of voltage inputs, the system will give audible and visual warnings of a flood situation. The control boxes can also be linked to the ship's computer to alert the control room of a flood situation. Systems can be tailored to meet individual requirements. |
